Like Prophecies and not rushing.

So, in all,

*A storyline like Prophecies (In the meaning of better, not copy paste)
*A larger map than Faction
*No closed doors (thinking by many I see in other forums)
*Diversity in the continent (like Prophecies which it has Wasteland to Volcano Islands)
*2 professions (preferable 2 melee to maintain the balance between Melee prof and ranged Prof). Like now, Polearms and Shapeshifters.

I think I miss something .....

See, I think this is the problem everyone is having though.

1. They all rushed it rather then learning new tactics and stradgey. They havent, and wont, take in to account the fun that this game really does have to offer. Sure the voice acting is just HORRID for a ASIAN-INFLUENCED game (I'll admit ANET could have gave them some what of an AsianBased Influenced), but the story telling of this one is just a chapter in a long series of chapters, like all books we have favorite parts in them.

2. No closed doors? I think this is a brilliant idea to prevent people from being lazy bums and not playing the game. Running to Senji's Corner wont happen and I enjoy that.

3. I think with Cantha is that this isn't the entire contient. If you (as in everyone) observe we'll see that our right side of the map is cut off, leaving more possiblity. For all we know, it's sort of like..

()()()()()()() (Tyrian Contient)
()()() (Canthaian Nation)

I'm saying is that this time we're not running around the world, but running around in a localized area meaning you can't have a Volcano Island next to a Wasteland coupled with gleaming Waterfalls and Forests.

I was thinking Anet loved the closed door idea...goes well with improving the storyline since it pretty much forces you to be involved with it. (although I like being able to explore and I am lazy as anything)

I figure the map will be larger than Cantha at least..just to avoid the complaints that would inevitably follow.

I wouldn't expect the diversity of GW:P..seems like GW:F environment was moving toward something more realistic rather than the other way.

One thing I expect to see more are balanced groups. No better way to encourage teamplay than minimizing solo-farming. (or farming at all?)

Maybe I should have checked *one* of those links before posting..

Anet would actually be wise to add more areas where players can solo farm if they choose too. Why? Many players log in to enjoy their time in any way they can. If a player logs in to complete a mission and, like me has gotten to the point of hating all things related to PuGs, find he/she has no guild mates on, then the option is to take henchies, farm, or log of and find another game to play.
If the player takes the farming route then he/she must own a FoTM build if they wish to get into a farming group. Not fun for many.
Solo farming is the other option.

I can't stand farming as it is so boring, but I'll do a few farming runs (solo, again I am to the point of refusing to PuG anymore) till someone I know logs in and we can group up.

It's about having options and removing play options kills peoples fun and they will eventually stop playing or burn out on it. Fun for ALL not just some I say.

Perhaps but sometime I need to rush in missions to join my friend which he's 2-3 missions before me.

The problem was from Prophecies, this is why they put Doors. I just wish to have more space without Closed Doors. Because the map is smaller, the area to explore is really small too. The place where you have less C.D. is in Kurzicks and Luxon areas, where alot players stay in these places (except now in Shin Jea Monstary with 255 District with the Festival).

If they want to put the Doors system again, then I hope just less. I mean, Explorable Area only and some outposts. If the outpost is important in the story, close it. Like in Luxon and Kurzick Area.

Little off-topic
In Prophecies, if ppl get run to Drok by Beacon's Perch, its because they have already finished the game or they dont know and they think its a secret city. If you want to stop this run in Beacon Perch:

1) Close these doors in Beacon Perch
2) Disable the portal zone there

The only way to go to these door is by Rankor or Deldrimor and go up to Beacon's Perch.

You have disable a run in Tyria now

theres something thats coming to my imagination, and it would be pretty cool if it happens Imo.

my vision is smoewhere theres going to be a huge desert with alot of stuff to do in it, all over. nice and open, not boring looking like a few dunes here and there. all sorts of travelling npcs and mobs in areas. and to get across this faster you can purchase a mount from a npc outside of some city. the mount can act like a horse, you jump on and run with like 25% faster and thats it. if theres some monsters u can jump off of it like dismissing an enchantment or maybe easier. and tell them to stay put like ghostly hero. so with that do your battle and jump back on for your travels. that would be seriously cool.

and they should have some special ones and "dyeable armors" for the mounts of animals that you can buy forever and keep instead of renting one when u wanted to go there.

they would most likely keep an outpost on the sides of the desert for u to warp, but a real player can just run if and get some chests on the way to his stop with his mount. sounds cool to me - i can dream... lol

edit: lets fix a few things here=
not like dismissing an enchantment, more like dropping a held item like ashes. and i meant that you would normally rent your mount, but you could buy your own for a decent price of your choice. dyeable armors, i mean in the sense that whatever armor they have on - it could be dyed. thats it lol back to game for next visit from emperor!
